tomfire

tomfire have been around a long time,
since about 1997.
They live in Luton but are at university elsewhere, and there have
been several people come and go but the core has stayed the same 3
people:
- Lee - guitars, keys, vocals, noise
- Chris - bass, guitars, vocals,
drums, noise
- Matt - drums, keys, noise, bass
Influenced by Mogwai, Godspeed You Black
Emperor, Tortoise (post rock type people generally) along with
improvisers such as AMM and MEV.
They say they have more ideas for tunes and instruments than we
know what to do with!
Short songs and long songs that use noise boxes, spoons, rattles,
door handles as well as some astounding guitar work is how they
sound, and they also enjoy rocking extremely!
They sing, they dance, they have lights flashing all around.
