An evening of Metal and Hardcore, headlined by the amazing PDHM, with main support coming from Stalefish1, who have their album out on Casket Records now, with a great sound that you should love! They also bought their friends <209> along to support them, then with local support from Atakku.

PDHM (click for site!)

London-based PDHM flavour their intense, bruising metal with dynamic melodies and a powerful groove that has their fans getting freaky on the dance floor and going crazy in the mosh pit.

Stuart McGee (vocals) and Lee Kent (lead guitar) formed PDHM 3 years ago, with the desire to bring huge riffs back to the London clubs and beat some life back into the British metal scene. Early recordings hinted at some serious potential, and when Alistair McGee (vocals) was drafted in, the aggression went through the roof. The heavy grooves of Tony Hopkins (bass guitar) and Richard Keenan (drums) provide the powerful backbone that has since allowed PDHM to hold the stage with the likes of American Head Charge, Guano Apes, Raging Speed Horn, Lost Prophets, Skindred, Miocene, Vacant Stare, Hondo Maclean, Johnny Truant, Fallen To and the phenomenal SikTh.

Very soon the band's electrifying stage presence was winning over the notoriously fickle London crowds. The crushing beat-down riffs of songs like Solutions and 8 Watts earnt them many fans from the hardcore scene, and this underground following, tempered with a female-friendly, all-smiles atmosphere, means PDHM live shows are always impressive. Let It Slide has the crowd jumping like lunatics, Distractions and Fallen From Grace crush everyone with non-stop rolling riffs, and Count Your Blessings realises the true strength of Stuart's singing, that was previously hinted at on Closure, a song that still moves the crowd 2 years since it was written.

The constant live successes, and unrelenting praise from the UK press has boosted the band's already potent creative atmosphere, and writing new material is now coming faster and easier than ever. A recent self-funded, self-organised tour of LA's premier rock venues is further proof that this band will stop at nothing to get their music heard.

Having cut their teeth in the tough London scene, and built a solid fan base through hard work and a great sound, PDHM have tasted success and are hungry for more.

Stalefish1 (click for site!)

Band Biography:

Stalefish1 are a 5 piece Alt/Metal outfit formed from the combined skills of :
Graham Richardson - Drums
Charlie Brind - Vocals
Nick Atkinson - Guitar
Blad - Bass Guitar
Sonny - Guitar

Hailing from between Reading and Rugby, Stalefish1 have been made big waves in the UK unsigned scene for the past year. Their blend of alternative metal, which consists of many genres across the spectrum and which draws from influences such as: Deftones, Hundred Reasons, Incubus and Thrice along with many "old school" metal bands, has been well received across the board.

The live show that Stalefish1 put on is possibly one of the most energetic you will ever see. Whether there is 5 or 5000 in the crowd, the same effort goes into every show, with tons of passion and energy from each band member.

Within the first few months of 2004, Stalefish1 were contacted by Casket Records (a division of Copro Records), asking if we would like to join forces and release an album of material.

The unrecorded material which had been written last year, was recorded at the beginning of our break, at Running Frog Studios in Windsor, and has now been combined with the original 5 songs that were recorded in 2003 to form the debut album, "Smashed Bottles & Broken Fences", which was released July the 26th on Casket Records, in all good record shops.
